Habitat Domestico is a large family's, compact suburban home. On analysing the family structure and their lifestyle, a large common floor with indoor and outdoor seatings are fused dynamically to create cooking, dining and social experiences that every large Indian family deserves. Mid-landings are re purposed as breakout spaces for pausing, reading and reflecting. The house is composed of varied volumes of spaces from cozy corners to large gathering spaces which effectively creates a larger synchronised architectural experience. The material palette is largely inspired by the surrounding lands' browns and greys colour tones and rich textures of stone and wood.
